Jack Reacher, with a reported $60 million production budget did very well at both its US domestic (with $79.9 million gross as of March 11th) and foreign (with $136.4 million gross) with a worldwide total of $216.4 million+ (as of March 11th) box-office gross, according to Box Office Mojo. A sequel is said to be in the works.

Paramount Home Entertainment has announced DVD ($29.99) and Blu-ray/DVD Combo ($39.99) releases of Jack Reacher for May 7th. No extra material will be included on the DVD release. The Blu-ray/DVD Combo release will include a commentary by Tom Cruise and director Christopher McQuarrie, a second commentary by composer Joe Kraemer, 3 featurettes ("When the Man Comes Around", "You Do Not Mess with Jack Reacher: Combat & Weapons", "The Reacher Phenomenon"), and a digital copy.
