PBS Announces the Addition of ‘Murder on the Homefront’ and ‘The Making of a Lady’ to LineupThen on the following Sunday, February 16th, another 90-minute drama Murder on the Homefront will air at 10PM following episode seven of Downton Abbey season four. Loosely based on Molly Lefebure’s memoirs (Lefebure was secretary during World War II to the Home Office Pathologist and pioneer of modern forensics, Keith Simpson), Murder on the Homefront is set in London during the Blitz. The series explores both the city’s indomitable nature and the people who chose the dark times to hide their crimes– including a serial killer. The series stars Patrick Kennedy (Boardwalk Empire), James Fleet (Four Weddings and a Funeral), and Tamzin Merchant (Jane Eyre).
